Rebis series dedicated to the great magic books, we have often proposed works of extraordinary historical importance and bibliographic information, often true jewels of antique oblivion saved time, enhanced by a new editorial aims to enhance its most genuine and original features faithfully to the attention of many fans and collectors who appreciate the value of quality editorial work is certainly not common. The
valuable texts presented in this sixth volume of Magic Secret, however, be treated with great respect. This fact certainly some of the rarest and most interesting magic manuals published by several centuries now, for the first time together in a single work.
The first is the legendary "Treasure of the Old Man of the Pyramids" grimoire an authoritative and very attractive, now absolutely impossible to find in the old editions and embellished with a series of beautiful charms. The work appeared in Italy in 1863, in a very expensive version of the manuscript made primarily for an audience of collectors. The next printed edition appeared in 1868 instead. Our faithful translation is of course based on a true copy original French edition and we are very pleased to be able to include in this collection, of course, it will once again have contributed to the discovery of a unique grimoire, or lost.
The second, "The Magic Book of Black Hen", besides being the first Italian translation of the original edition of 1820, is surely unique in the world for which they were taken into account, for a particularly accurate translation , all original copies and the subsequent reprints in various languages, carefully analyzed and compared, including a precious manuscript in the Italian half of last century, in our records. This grimoire therefore, with whom we extend our already-known and important collection dedicated to the ancient books of magic, will be particularly appreciated by any serious researcher and scholar of the most significant and fascinating magic.
The last two works that suggest other hand, correspond to two grimoires "historical" world famous and highly sought after for centuries, known by the popular names of "Big Albert" and "Little Albert". The first is traditionally attributed all'insigne doctor universalis Albert the Great, and under various titles, and various forms, from the fifteenth century onwards (and before that in manuscript form), has enjoyed an extraordinary reputation, to the point that it is almost impossible to establish a complete and correct chronological footage of dozens of editions (only well-preserved in the Archive Rebis, 86 original, published by mid-1500 to the early 900) that have occurred until the nineteenth century, including in Europe. The distinguished esoteric Stanislas de Guaita writes about it in a note affixed to a specimen in his possession, kept in our database: "This book is so sought after in the French translation and in the old edition, which despite its large number of impressions printed is very difficult to find. " The "Treasury of Wonderful Secrets of the Little Albert" has always been considered rather a sort of natural "result" of titled predecessor, "Big Albert" to the point that starting in the nineteenth century, there are many editions of the two texts gathered together in one volume. The work, which is given to the press for the first time around the end of '600, it would be drawn - according to a report in the text - from the Little Book of Secrets wonderful Alberto, known in Latin under the title Libellus Alberti seemed Lucii Nature Mirabilibus de Arcanis is assigned to one of these Granduomini that the ignorant people were accused of Witchcraft.

As regards the texts of the Great and Little Albert placed in our collection, we can claim to have used two real pearls of our bibliographic esoteric: the first is the complete and very rare edition of the six books of the "secret admirer of Albert the Great" , published in Milan in 1924 in a beautiful and stylish collection entitled Occult Sciences Library. The second is the almost unheard of and absolutely impossible to find the first official edition, and the first Italian translation of "Wondrous Secrets of the Little Albert", originally published in Milan in 1868. Both works are repeated in full and accompanied by beautiful illustrations magical period.
