Cool Clothing Shops Boston

Seijiro Murayama & TOMAŽ GROM SHOP @ Kobo

Kobo SHOP via Palladio 7 Udine

Saturday, July 3rd 18:00

Seijiro Murayama & TOMAŽ GROM Seijiro Murayama meditates on the acoustic phenomena of action-reaction, linked-detached, on the sounds of the ghost resonance. But his attitude is physical. His music is a continuum, usually minimal, but not always so, that depends on listening, 'I'm just a medium'. Murayama plays the snare drum, a flat, small objects. And sings. Born in 1957 in Nagasaki, Japan, Murayama Seijiro worked as a percussionist, improviser since 1982. In particular, he has played with Fred Frith, Tom Cora, and Keiji Haino KKNull. From 1999 he worked in France not only music but also in areas puramenti for multidisciplinary projects. He is currently playing in only (only a snare drum), a duet with Jean-Luc uionnet (alto sax), Eric Cordier (hurdy gurdy), Stéphane Rive (soprano sax), Didier Aschour (guitar) and in trio with Thierry Madiot (trombone), Pascal Battus (guitar), Michael Northam. In this opportunity will be accompanied by bassist and composer Slovenian Tomaz Grom.
